Hello other blog lovelies!
I'm Beth (LookLifeBeauty), doing a little blog post on the lovely Angelica's blog about my top 5 favourite products!
With this I've tried to cover every beauty area, rather than just pick 5 similar items (I've also tried to choose products that are available in most countries so everyone is included!).
So, best crack on with it!
1. Rimmel Lip Products!
These are just the most amazing *cheap* lip products in my opinion, lately they have come out with more and more collections (for example the Kate Moss and Kate Moss Matte collections), all of which are just as amazing value but with more colours and formulas! They have amazing staying power and their lip pencils are the only drug store ones that work with my lips and don't leave me with lipstick all over my face. In England you will never pay more than around £6 for a lipstick from Rimmel so it's always well worth it.
2. Revlon ColorStay Foundation!
I have tried SO many drugstore foundations; Rimmel Wake Me Up, Maybelline Fit Me, Bourjois Paris Healthy Mix.. All the ones that everyone raves about but they just don't work with my skin and either leave me with no coverage, I have a reaction or I look like I have an inch of make-up on my face. But the Revlon ColorStay foundation is just perfect, I hardly ever use a primer and it stays all day, it blends perfectly and there is quite a wide range of colours. I highly recommend giving it a go if you don't want to fork out on a high end foundation.
3. Maybelline Volum' Express Rocket Mascara!
This is a relatively new product in the drugstore, but by gosh it's amazing! It doesn't clump at all, it takes around 2 coats and your mascara looks perfect, will stay all day and really looks like you've spent more time and money on making them look perfect!
4. Lush Trichomania!
This is a new product for me, but I have fallen in love with it quickly! It's from Lush's range of solid shampoos, this one in particular smells of pure coconut (if you don't like this scent then do check out their other solid shampoos) and is just the best thing that has ever happened to my head. I have very damaged hair and this product is honestly the most conditioning shampoo I have tried!
5. Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean Cleanser!
This, again, drugstore item is my favourite product from Soap and Glory, although it doesn't have the signature S&G scent, it is amazing! It smells like a mix of mint and peaches, and as a girl with overly sensitive skin, it is the best cleanser I have used, it moisturises as it cleanses. It is also just the easiest product to use, I am a lazy-bum when it comes to taking off my make-up at night but this does wonders, takes everything off in 60 seconds and you don't REALLY need to moisturise after!
So there you have it! My top 5 Products and why I love them!
Thank you to Angelica for letting me do this guest post and please do check out my blog for more rambling posts from me!
Lots and lots of love, Beth xoxo
