Hey Everyone! So I know your probably wondering why I'm writing a post about Smoothies when this is suppose to be a Beauty/Fashion review blog. Well I'm a Huge believer of inner beauty as well as if you don't take care of your body and keep it health nothing you put on your face will make you look good and nothing you wear will make you feel any better. So first take care of your body then you can wear what ever you want .Hope that made sense to someone besides me . Anyway Last summer was when I first started making these green smoothies and fell in love with the idea,Yeah I know the first thing that comes to mind is gross right. Well that doesn't have to be the case, I'm always experimenting with different variations of the same recipe basically. You need to play with how much fruit and how much greens you put in your smoothies because if you start with way to much greens. When you've never had green smoothie before then your not going to like the taste at all. Another thing your going to want to experiment with the general texture of the smoothie too , for me I don't mind a little bit of chunks of Fruit in my smoothie since I like fruit smoothies .You may not want to have any chunks you might want to bend yours til its water consistency . So onto the actual smoothie shall we ?
So the basic rule I stick to is always 2 Handfuls of greens and half as much fruit.
Whats inside?
- 2 Handfuls of Spinach
- 2 cups of Green tea
- 4 chunks of mango
- 1 banana
So If you want your Smoothie to taste like mango add more mango if you want it to taste like banana add more banana. I personally like to use ice cold fruit and green tea,Then you don't need ice. I love green tea because it adds flavor and its good for you . This recipe above makes the smoothie taste like mango which I love. Another tip is use a green like spinach when your first trying green smoothies because the spinach has a less noticeable taste. I hope you all try this out and Enjoy .
Awesome, thanks for sharing.
